Every plan includes the released core modules, Business Context, Decision Intelligence, and all available framework mappings, with no per-user fees and no tier-gating of core security. Prices are annual platform subscription pricing and do not include ongoing vCISO or managed GRC services. Available capabilities and supported integrations are confirmed during scoping. Planned capabilities are identified as planned and are not part of current plan scope until released.
How plan capacity is measured
- Actively managed processes
- Governed workflows with an owner and active risk, control, BIA, or review work. Passive inventory, drafts, and archived records do not count.
- Managed entities
- Organizations or units needing separate program ownership, governance, and reporting. Each department or site is not automatically billable.
- Connector instances
- A connection to one supported source tenant or account. Supported integrations are confirmed during scoping.
- Unlimited users
- No per-user fees. Access remains subject to each user's assigned roles and scope.

Pricing FAQ
Can we buy just the platform?
Yes. A platform subscription is available on its own for teams that want to run their own program.
Can we buy just services?
Yes. vCISO and managed GRC services are available on their own, with no separate platform subscription required.
Can we buy both?
Yes. A combined proposal lists the software subscription, onboarding where applicable, and the scoped ongoing services separately, so each is clearly identified.
Is platform access included with services?
Access and entitlements are specified in your proposal. A services engagement does not automatically include a standalone platform subscription.
Does software pricing include ongoing advisory?
No. Platform subscription pricing does not include ongoing vCISO or managed GRC advisory unless it is explicitly included in a combined agreement.
What is the Altaveyr Founding Customer Program?
An offer for the first five qualified direct customers on the Essentials or Professional plan. It reduces the subscription price in year one and steps up to list price by year three. Founding customers take part in scheduled feedback sessions and measured outcome reviews.
What does the Founding Customer Program cost?
Year one: Essentials $28,000 or Professional $48,000 (20% below list). Year two: $31,500 or $54,000. Year three: $35,000 or $60,000 for unchanged scope. Standard one-time onboarding ($5,000 or $10,000) is separate, and normal plan scope applies.
Is the founding discount permanent?
No. The discount applies in years one and two and reaches standard list pricing in year three for unchanged scope.
Will we be named as a reference?
Only with your consent. Feedback sessions and outcome reviews are part of the program; any public reference requires your explicit agreement.
Are Altaveyr subscriptions monthly or annual?
Altaveyr is sold as an annual SaaS subscription. Monthly figures are rounded monthly equivalents of the annual commitment, not cancellable monthly subscriptions.
What counts as an actively managed process?
A governed business workflow with an assigned owner and active risk, control, BIA, or review work. Passive inventory, drafts, and archived records do not count.
What is a managed entity?
An organization or business unit that needs its own program ownership, governance, and reporting. Individual departments or sites are not automatically billable entities.
What is a connector instance?
A connection to one supported source tenant or account. Available capabilities and supported integrations are confirmed during scoping.
Does Altaveyr charge per user?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users, subject to the roles and scope assigned to each user.
Are modules restricted by tier?
No. Every plan includes the released core modules, Business Context, Decision Intelligence, and all available framework mappings. Tiers differ by capacity and workflow scheduling, not by core security or GRC modules.
Is onboarding included?
Standard onboarding is a separate one-time fee: $5,000 for Essentials, $10,000 for Professional, and from $20,000 for Enterprise. Ongoing vCISO or managed GRC services are separate.
Can we upgrade our plan later?
Yes. Organizations can move to a higher tier as process, entity, or connector needs grow.
